Situated in Kwamsisi, Handeni District, Tanga Region, the Kwamsisi Graphite Plant, which only began operations in January 2025, is a cutting-edge facility equipped with advanced crushing, grinding, and multi-stage flotation circuits designed to protect and preserve flake integrity throughout processing. Leveraging this modern technology, the plant consistently achieves high recovery rates and product quality, producing graphite concentrate with up to 95% TGC (Total Graphitic Carbon). With a current output of approximately 25,000 tonnes per month (TPM), the facility is well-positioned to meet rising demand and fulfill large-volume orders — making God Mwanga Gems Ltd a reliable supply partner for industries worldwide.
We were deeply honored to inaugurate the Kwamsisi Graphite Plant in the esteemed presence of the Honorable Minister of Minerals, Dr. Antony Mavunde, who officially launched the facility on February 19, 2024. His participation underscored the national significance of our project and his continued commitment to advancing Tanzania’s mining sector. The event was further graced by distinguished guests including District Commissioner Mr. Albert Msando and Resident Mines Officer for Tanga, Ms. Winnifrida S. Mrema, whose presence reinforced the strong collaboration between government and industry stakeholders.
We also take this opportunity to extend our profound appreciation to Her Excellency President Dr. Samia Suluhu Hassan, whose visionary leadership continues to pave the way for industrial transformation. Her government’s support for the $60 billion electrical substation project marks a pivotal step toward energy reliability in our region — a critical development that will empower our plant with stable electricity, enhance our production capacity, and accelerate sustainable economic growth.
We love our customers, so feel free to visit during normal business hours.
